In the kindergarten of the Institució Igualada  we are working the Inquiry Unit on Antoni Gaudí and we have invited the architect Alma Ros-Zanet, a great expert of this genius, since he studied at the Gaudí Chair.

She explained that Gaudí was one in love with nature and wanted to capture in his buildings the marvel of creation.

Its architecture has fascinated us all, we have let the light of the Mediterranean into the school through its stained glass windows, we have experienced how difficult it is to create structures similar to those of Antoni Gaudí, we have compared different constructions and we have learned things hitherto unknown to all we.

Alma has also taken us into the architecture of the Sagrada Familia. It has made us perceive more the details of the facade of this Basilica known throughout the world; She explained how the sun through stained glass paints the interior walls of the building according to the time of day. We have also found it very curious to build the school that is inside the Sagrada Familia campus, which was built for the children of the workers.

We have observed different images and we have been able to confirm that nature was their source of inspiration.

The genius of his works encourages us to continue working at the Atelier with different techniques, all inspired by the author.

To finish the activity we have seen the story of "The Three Twins and Antoni Gaudí" eating some delicious popcorn that we have prepared in the kitchen of the school.
