The ATLAS Sociocultural Foundation, has come to teach, to the children of Infant Education of the Institution Igualada, a workshop on games of the world. From the play, we have approached the different cultures around the world and we have discovered that it is not only an entertainment tool, but that the game allows us to achieve a wide range of learning and helps us to know the our environment

The different games we have performed have been extracted from ethnic groups around the world, such as Zulum from South Africa, Yabuban from the Ivory Coast and Inuit ethnicities, from Alaska.

At the end of the workshop, the children of P5 have performed a Venn Diagram, in order to compare the games presented during the workshop with those who already know and share in their day to day life. This Thoughts Routine has allowed children to discover for themselves that ALL the games in the world have these characteristics:

- The importance of respecting rules and playmates.

- Cooperative work. It is important to work in teams to favor group cohesion.

-Dear of each game there is a learning objective.

It has been a very enriching workshop and surely we will implement the games we have known during the patio months.

Thank you very much for helping us grow.
