What color are the emotions?

Routine of thought "Talk with chalk"

In our culture, colors can represent different emotions. These interpretations are subjective, since colors are often related to lived situations, moods and often are not the same interpretation in all people.

In 3rd grade of Primary we have done an activity in which the girls had to say each color what transmitted to them. That is why we have made a routine of thinking called "Talking with Chalks". This routine promotes thought and makes it richer and more creative.

We have distributed tables in the class with sheets with different colored spots. The girls had to relate that color to a feeling, idea, symbol, word that this produced them. All the contributions were valid and we have let go the capacity for expression and creation that we all bring within.

It has been a very enriching activity!
