Our Home to Home teachers: Sarah, Laura, Mandy and Fatima taught and helped us all week. The classes of 4th and 5th Primary worked with the theme “English Culture Around the World”: Geography, History, Culture, Food, Transports, Literature etc.
The classes of 1st and 2nd of ESO worked with the theme “We are water”, learning about the importance of water in our planet, its uses, water scarcity, its properties, cleaning the water clean, water cycle etc.
All the groups had a Travel Book to write their experiences and the facts they learned during the week. In class they worked with a dossier, but they also made murals, workshops and arts and crafts. They also played board and outdoor games, watched educational videos, had debates and much more.
There was never a dull moment in the English Week. All the girls had the opportunity to learn and practice more English and they have already improved so much. There was a big poster in the corridor that was covered in new words they learned during the week.
English Week 2016: aprende y divertir-se ... en anglés
Del 29 de febrer al 4 de març, les alumnes de quart i cinquè de Primària i de 1r i 2n d'ESO vam gaudir de l'English Week
Vàrem passar la setmana anterior decorant l'escola amb cartells i rètols en anglès i preparant-nos per aprendre mot més d'aquesta llengua. Les nostres professores han estat: La Sarah, la Laura, la Mandy i la Fatima, que ens han ensenyat i ajudat durant tota la setmana.
Les classes de quart i cinquè de Primària han treballat el tema “cultures angleses a tot el món”: geografia, història, literatura, cultura, alimentació, transports... Per la seva banda, 1r i 2n d'ESO han treballat el tema “som aigua”, aprenent sobre la importància de l'aigua al nostre planeta, els seus usos i propietats, el cicle de l'aigua, la seva manca al planeta...
Tots els grups tenien un llibre de viatjes per escriure les seves experiències i tot allò que han après durant la setmana. A l'aula han treballat un dossier i han confeccionat murals, han fet tallers i artesania. També han jugat a l'aire lliure, han visionat vídeos educatius, han participat en debats i, al passadís, també hi havia un gran cartell amb tot el nou vocabulari après aquests dies.
No hi ha hagut ni un moment per a l'avorriment i totes les alumnes han tingut la possibilitat d'aprendre i practicar l'anglès, i han millorat molt.
